Sorry, busy on other stuff... I think this solution works for this one point.
Before committing it, tho, I want to make absolutely sure you and
[~carina.antunes] understand that if we do this, you will get no text from
embedded documents.
If this is precisely what you both want, then this approach makes sense.
If, rather, you'd like to skip embedded images or have some other fine-grained
control over what gets returned, then this approach won't work.
