All, I just finished a proof of concept for:
1) adding a ZipContainerDetector interface so that we can separate knowledge of
specific zip file types into the appropriate packages for each type.
2) separating parser specific tests from full AutoDetectParser integration
tests via a tika-parser-integration-tests module
The idea is to put tests for the target parser only in the tika-parser-modules
sub module for the parser, but if there is an integration test that requires
other parser, put those tests in tika-parser-integration-tests.
Please do take a look at {{branch_2x}} and let me know if there are any
objections.
If not, I'll fill out the rest of the parsers in this way.
