Julian Reschke commented on TIKA-3535:
--------------------------------------

I upgraded to 2.1.0, removing all exclusions, and everything seems ok now.

> tika-parser should not have a dependency on an slf4j implementation

> While upgrading Jackrabbit to Tika 2.0.0, I noticed that tika-parsers pulls
> in a dependency to log4j-core and log4j-slf4j-impl.
> This is bad for downstream users using different sl4j impls; they need to
> exclude them in their dependencies.
