We are unable to upgrade to the latest version of Tika due to JDK compatibility constraints. It would be very helpful if a critical CVE fix could be backported to version 2.9.4. While we can check out the 2.9.4 source code and apply the fix ourselves, this would require maintaining a customized JAR in our internal repository.
