What do you think about starting the regression tests of 4.x vs 3.x next
week and aiming for a 4.0.0-ALPHA release the week of March 9?

If grpc basically works, that's good enough for an ALPHA. We can add
functionality in BETA and in actual releases. We just need to make sure
that we've broken all we need to before 4.0.0.

WDYT?
