During a 1.2M-document regression run, a pipes worker died from an OOM on an
archive. Its replacement didn't connect within the 60 s startup timeout, so it
reported FAILED_TO_INITIALIZE. AsyncProcessor treats that as fatal ("stopping
all processing"), and the whole batch stopped at 250k of 1.2m documents.
