See here: https://blogs.apache.org/tiles/entry/abstracting_requests_and_templates With a few corrections here: https://blogs.apache.org/tiles/entry/autotag_autogeneration_completed Essentially no new features, removal of all deprecated features, extraction of the "request microframework" and creation of the "autotag" project to create automatically tags for JSP, Velocity and Freemarker. Thus, less code to maintain :-) I was in the process of writing more unit tests to reach a bigger code coverage (checked with Emma), but currently I am working for Velocity. I will try to separate myself 50-50 between these two projects. Antonio
