    Fix: squid:S1149, Synchronized classes StringBuffer shouldn't be used.

    This pull request is focused on resolving occurrences of Sonar rule 
     squid:S1149 - “Synchronized classes Vector, Hashtable, Stack and 
StringBuffer should not be used ”.
