A while back on TINKERPOP-989 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TINKERPOP-989
I'd suggested we add a index page to be a sort of a landing page for all TinkerPop documentation. I took a quick swipe at this for 3.1.4-SNAPSHOT: http://tinkerpop.apache.org/docs/3.1.4-SNAPSHOT/ While we currently use the TinkerPop home page for this indexing purpose things still don't feel terribly unified or easy to find that way. I think the home page doesn't really need to change as a result of this, except that now we have the flexibility to be more selective of what we put on the home page (i.e. things we want to really feature that people visiting shoudln't miss) and then point folks to the "documentation index" for the "full list". Note that the page is asciidoc based and works with the standard generate/publish system. Thoughts?
