I didn't plan to bring up releasing 3.4.8 until later in August, but I'd learned today that 3.4.7 released a bit too early to capture yet another Jackson version update which knocks out a gang of CVEs. I've bumped to that version of Jackson today and didn't have any problems. It will be a slim release but that's not a problem I guess. It's also less of a hassle to release "often" given that we don't need to also release on the 3.3.x line anymore.
Anyway, unless there are objections I'd like to propose that we enter code freeze at the end of the day on Friday, July 24th with the idea that go through the release process the first full week of August. Please let me know if there are any concerns, otherwise we'll proceed down this path. Thanks!
