I like that you've tried to call attention to the things we think are important to know when someone first visits the site. Perhaps one of the most important things in my mind is the "Community Contributions" which we've termed the "Index Listing". It shows the scope of TinkerPop's support and tooling and I can't say I knew just where to go to find that. As an aside, I've always found it confusing that we have two listings - a Provider Listing and the Index Listing, the former having a slightly higher barrier for inclusion[1]. Perhaps there should just be one place that covers providers, tools, ecosystem, etc. and then come up with a good way to call attention to that place from the home page?
regarding this topic, I tend to think that folks are generally interested in knowing: 1. what graphs are supported? 2. is my programming language supported? 3. what tools are out there that might be able to help me if i use TinkerPop? perhaps those are the things to frame up and call attention to on the home page somewhere in those initial 6 boxes. The "Providers" box answers item 1, though we may not want to name names there from an ASF perspective. I know they are just examples, but the home page gives them more exposure than other providers. I think that was some of the reason why we had the Index Listing versus the Provider Listing so that the index gave everyone home page billing but if you cleared a slightly higher bar you could get a bit more advanced exposure on the Provider Listing.
