Stephen Mallette commented on TINKERPOP-2661:
---------------------------------------------
TINKERPOP-2681 may help close this one as it introduces the
{{AmbiguousMethodASTTransformation}} which helps to avoid these problems. Need
to see if it applies to the issues related to {{{}inject(){}}}.
> GremlinGroovyScriptEngine handling of null arguments

> {{GremlinGroovyScriptEngine}} sometimes doesn't handle {{null}} arguments
> terribly well given the overloads available to it. There are a number of
> exceptions in the GLV tests around this as seen in the various
> {{generate.groovy}} files. See if there is a way to improve this and to
> remove those exceptions in the GLVs. It's possible that using the
> {{gremlin-language}} might help us get rid of those exceptions, but that
> would still leave the {{GremlinGroovyScriptEngine}} suboptimal. Perhaps this
> is another reason to deprecate Groovy support.
