Resolution: Not A Problem
I dont think there is a problem here. There was an effort to make
gremlin-python more pythonic and we introduced the underscored versions. The
old camel-cased versions are also present still but deprecated - see the
following as an example:

users should prefer the underscored versions as described in the reference docs.
