In the TinkerPop HipChat room, Daniel Gruno shared some stats related to
usage of the dev list. They are quite interesting:

Why "interesting"? Because we made a number of changes to how the
TinkerPop community operates in the last 30 days (code reviews, hipchat,
open hangouts, less dependence on JIRA for all development discussion, etc)
and I was wondering how those changes were manifesting in the dev mailing
list.

As the link above shows, the result of these changes has shown a
significant increase in traffic on the list. But it's not just "more
traffic". Dig in a little bit and look at who's generating the traffic -
for instance - here's a view on just "code review" and PRs from github:

https://pony-poc.apache.org/[email protected]:lte=1M:github

we have increased participation from a number of individuals. Finally,
consider the original stats Daniel shared over the last three months:

https://pony-poc.apache.org/[email protected]:lte=3M

this has been a positive trend we've been seeing and the changes we made
only further expanded on that. So, take from it what you will - it's all
just numbers, but I think there's a lot of positive to take from this
information.

....oh - and if this is your first time seeing pony mail - you have been
missing out. imo, it's a far better alternative to the other mail archives
that are hanging around out there.

Thanks,

Stephen
