I wasn't sure if we had a DISCUSS thread about this or not (and couldn't find one) so I figured I'd bring it up - I'd created this JIRA issue to bump the netty version for TinkerPop about month and a half ago:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TINKERPOP-1080 I'd like to look into making that change for 3.1.2. If there are no objections in the next three days (Thursday, February 25, 2016, 4:00pm EST), I'll assume lazy consensus and move forward with it. Thanks, Stephen
