Since Ted set up gremlin-benchmarks I'd like to put us on the path to remove dependency on junit-benchmarks which is still in gremlin-server and gremlin-test. I recommend that we deprecate the various performance suites in both modules. My sense is that few providers are relying on those suites for performance testing so I doubt this change will have much impact when we eventually remove these classes/dependencies at some point in the future.
I'll assume lazy consensus and move forward on deprecation unless I hear some objection in the next 72 hours (Thursday April 28, 2016 at 8:15am EST). Thanks, Stephen
