Subject: DO NOT REPLY [Bug 37424] - welcome-file list not working with extensions
------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-11-09 13:57 ------- Oh sorry, I did not know that Tomcat is NOT the official reference implementation. Obviously I misunderstood the first sentence on http://tomcat.apache.org which
states:
"Apache Tomcat is the servlet container that is used in the official Reference
Implementation for the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages technologies."
;-)

Can we kill that sentence? It gives everyone the wrong idea, since it only refers to Tomcat versions that are no longer supported (e.g. 3.2.x, 4.0.x, 5.0.x). Also, GlassFish means that it will probably never be true for any future version of Tomcat.
