           Summary: Encoding error in request parameters when using GET
                    method.
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.5.9
          Platform: All
               URL: http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Intl/HTT
                    PCharset/
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Connector:Coyote
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

After reading the article at the URL, I tried the JSP example in it. I found
characters other than ASCII(e.g. Chinese characters) was incorrectly presented
when running on Tomcat 5.5.9 and 5.5.15. But it was all right on Sun
Application Server 8.2. I think there is something wrong with
Request.getParameter(), possibly string encoding missing.
