http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37098 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-02 04:55 ------- An engineer from Sun wrote me back saying that this is the way it's spec'd, so we're out of luck. I think this is unfortunate. I have taken different tactics on this: besides the techniques mentioned in the comments, I just use and c:if/c:choose block and repeat a the whole element snippet of code. When you get multiple attributes you're playing this game with, it gets pretty ugly. This must be a VERY common problem. In the last year two of the other engineers on my team have run into it (and there's only three of us writing java code). If I have to deal with this a couple more times, I'll probably hunker down and just write a replacement for the element generation code that works the way we'd like. Hope this helps, Andy [EMAIL PROTECTED] ndpsoftware.com -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
