The documentationshould use "^" instead of "\" and use the correct continuation
prompt (or none).

The doc is wrong on the main tomcat site and the comments pointing this out are
quite old. This is why I filed an additional bug even if there is no
documentation/site category here. Sorry for thatby my tomcat-dev mail was also
unresponded. The above post does contain a proposed diff.
