Hi, Assuming you mean the small thread that started with http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=tomcat-dev&m=114684618907238&w=2, I would say no. That whole thread was conjecture and was never discussed seriously. Of course we may do such things (major features = a .5 release increment rather than a .1) as features come up, but there's no such firm plan at the moment. AFAIK.
