Note: This makes the CollapseSlashes options effectively NO-OPs. I plan to remove much of the associated code, update the docs and possibly log a warning if the option is used (depends on how simple the code to do that turns out to be). Once I've completed the above I plan to tag 1.2.44 and start the release process.
