Perhaps it would be helpful to state that on the download page or in the packaging details. Right now it reads "Base distribution. These distributions do not include the Windows service wrapper nor the compiled APR/native library for Windows." for both .zip and .tar.gz. However, I would like to question if such a distinction is really necessary. Wouldn't it be sufficient to encode the Windows-Batch-Files with CRLF and all other files with LF?
