Description:
Processing the transfer-encoding header for an HTTP/1.0 request may
allow an attacker to cause one request from another user to fail when
Tomcat is located behind a reverse proxy.
Mitigation:
Users of the affected versions should apply one of the following
mitigations:
- Remove the examples web application
- Upgrade to Apache Tomcat 11.0.26
- Upgrade to Apache Tomcat 10.1.60
- Upgrade to Apache Tomcat 9.0.122
