Cleanup after jdbc-pool testsuite refactoring
Since there are so many defects to fix, the intent of the refactoring
was to have a decent base testsuite that will be heavily expanded upon
while adding fixes.
Most tests are now based on a real database.
Also takes much less time to run (except TestInterceptorSemantics which
may need some improvements), another very important thing to allow
efficient work.
Will sync the Ant build eventually with the updated testsuite.

I wish I'd seen this before I started looking at the jdbc-pool PRs. I'll
pause looking at those for now.
And I'm obviously not backporting any changes for now, having a
separate module is perfect for that.
Do you think this will be back-ported in time for the November releases?
