http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43663 Summary: maxPostSize does not work in standard http connector implementation Product: Tomcat 6 Version: 6.0.14 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Connectors AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm using a standard http connector implementation. When I upload a file by posting a form, the default 2 MB limit is not enforced. Even setting maxPostSize="2097152" manually doesn't work. I can upload a 20 MB file and do not get any errors, the file is completely uploaded. I also tested this in Tomcat 5.5 in Windows and in Tomcat 6.0 in Linux with the same results. I do not know if there is any other way to avoid getting a huge request. I can disableUploadTimeout="false", but this may be bad for people with slow connections and do not give me byte precision control. I can also check the request size afterwards, but then time and space in the server have already been wasted. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
