I want to *donate the ProxyServlet.java* to tomcat core/extensions,

Hi Sébastien,

I see no problem of having something like that integrated
within core Tomcat, but of course I'll let other
express their opinions as well.

From the legal point of view, any donated code has to
go trough some procedure.
Since this is already existing software you will have
to sign the SLA (Software License Agreement)
http://www.apache.org/licenses/software-grant.txt
and re-license your code under ASL (if not already).

If your code was released under some different licence
you will have to check if other contributors would
have a problem with that (depending on the original license)

Let us know, if you have any issues with the SLA.
