1. Rolling the system back to a restore point created two days ago solved this. (though broke something else). 2. I do not know what was the cause - I cannot reproduce it. I hope it was a false warning. It might have been some intermediate version of the installer, when I tried to use variables in the installation path, - not the version that I have committed.
