Your Report (Review ID: JI-9011609) - UTF-8 decoder fails to handle some edge cases correctly I didn't say so in the bug report but I'm happy to walk Oracle through any of the failing test cases if it isn't clear why any of them are bugs. Just point them towards the Tomcat dev list. If you can nudge the right folks into getting this fixed for both Java 7 and Java 8 that would great. I'd be extremely happy to be able to delete Tomcat's customer UTF-8 decoder.
