There is one more Jasper EL regression that I think is need to be addressed in Tomcat 6. https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=56334 Thus far I have tested that it is reproducible with war from bugzilla (in 8.0.x or in 7.0.x, I don't remember), but have not dug further to fix it.
