As a starting point, would it be possible for you to find out the following when the loop happens: 1. Put a break point on AprEndpoint.Poller.add(long, int, int) and tell us the full stack trace for the code that adds the socket to the Poller 2. Put as break point on ApeEndpoint.processSocket(long, status) and (for the looping socket) tell us what the value of the status parameter is.
