Hi we now use sxc to parse EE descriptors. Personally I'm not convinced it change anything regarding perfs (on real apps, on simple-stateless it does).
Another point is setting temporarly the jaxb property com.sun.xml.bind.v2.runtime.JAXBContextImpl.fastBoot would also make it less efficient.
