Pretty sure it was EmbeddedTomEEContainerTest where this was happening
intermittently (on 1.7.x), so possible race/ref condition fix on
Container has fixed it already - No harm in throwing an error on null
though.

If that's the case check for null and throw an exception, if it is never
supposed to be null then there is an issue, as it sometimes is.
