You mean using http://localhost:8080/ejb-examples-1.1.1/jndi ?
That seems to be working here (for me at least) without issue with the out-of-the-box TomEE 1.7.2 Plus and the ejb-examples war (slightly modified as mentioned below - i.e. Transactional->Transaction and removing -SNAPSHOT from the path in context.xml). Shout if I'm missing anything.
