We're more likely to see master get branched to create an 8.0 release branch, and master become TomEE 9, and I'd expect that to target Jakarta EE 9 and the latest MicroProfile version. Having just gone through the pain of doing 3 simultaneous releases for 3 different branches, I would not be in favour of maintaining more branches, but that's just my personal view. If there's desire for more branches, that can be discussed - it should probably have its own thread rather than picking up on this one (regarding Docker images). Jon
