In my work to move the website to Antora, I already fixed all the broken asciidoc I could find. I'm not sure that the community has any interest in an Antora based site, but you could probably save a lot of time by "mining" my repos. If you are interested in working towards an Antora based site we could revive my effort. My work is under various "tomee" repos at https://github.com/djencks.
