Totally fine with a CXF Pre-Release, just put some thought into the versioning as much as possible so we don't create problems for ourselves later :) Usually it's best to take the last released version and add something to the end of it, rather than use an unreleased version string, but we're in a bit of a unique situation because the branch hasn't seen a release from my understanding.
