I left some (minor) comments to improve reader / user experience (by being a bit more clear and concise). Feel free to adjust as you like. In addition, I would always try to keep the change set small and on point (for the context of the issue on which we are working) - for that reason, I commented on the changed import order in some of the openejb / tomee classes.
