This may be useful if, for example, a file was changed in such a way that made it fail tests, but the old version is still available in an old revision. We have the ability to copy whole revisions to be the latest revision, but we don't have a way to export individual files from any revision. We should probably just make this a "download file from this revision" function, and not a "restore file from this revision into a new revision" function, but the latter is possible too. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
