We could either make release policy objects mandatory on projects, or keep them optional but ensure that access goes through properties that set defaults. I chose the latter approach in ec5014ba7af3d7c8ac0d6358ec34a616a8d501ca, with a few bugs. Those bugs were fixed in dee03daa4f8176854deac52fcfb50e93f32812ab, and that commit also adds the release policy form to project pages. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
