As discussed with @dave2wave, the first phase of the API implementation will consist of endpoints for read-only data, and making the existing ATR workflow scriptable. We will not replace `rsync` for uploading files, but will have endpoints for reviewing checks, starting a vote, etc. We will allow SSH keys to be used as PATs, but will retain and continue to support the existing PAT code for those who do not use SSH keys. - [ ] #145 - [ ] #143 This is the new precursor to #147, which we will proceed to once this issue is complete, and which will require coordination with others to ensure that e.g. committees and projects can be created via ATR and recorded definitively upstream.
