I'm coming back to Python, and I'd love help getting my default
environment setup as close to what Tooling devs use as practical. Is
there a runbook on taking a new personal machine and setting up
python/uv/whatever so one could contribute to tooling work?
Longer term, I'm interested in contributing in BAT, as well as
contributing some new user-supported tools that deploy the same ways
official tools do. Short-term, I need a stable python environment for a
number of other projects I'm working on, and I'm planning to base my
standards on whatever Tooling does. 8-)
I'm on macOS Tahoe using homebrew. Thanks!
