It is not in the design of the ATR for the artifacts in a Release to be re-uploaded and the checks re-run during the vote. Instead the check results are available on the Vote/Ballot page. We are planning to rework this page to be more explicit about release check lists etcetera. All Ballot pages will be open to all. We have the Incubator two phase votes implemented and are waiting on a podling to try it out in the Alpha. > So the request is that IPMC members can validate releases of any podling RC even if they are not in the relevant podling PPMC. So, already implemented. > The ATR tool can be used to sanity check the release candidate by any voter by using the svn upload feature of your website. Only (P)PMC members and Release Managers will be permit to upload a a release. Perhaps we need to review the documentation so that the `svn upload` feature is better understood. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
