When the vote on a release fails, often a new RC is created for the same version that fixes the problems found in the earlier RC. In the vote email template, it would be nice to have variables both with the `RC` marker (e.g. `2.1.0-RC1`) and without it (e.g. `2.1.0`): I think most occurrences should probably use the former (to keep it clear which round the vote belongs to), but possibly not all. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
