There seem to be a few things here: 1. ATR should have a release checklist. 2. Votes cast for users to the mailing list by ATR should include release details. 3. Voters should be able to note what they checked. We did have a release checklist option, but a few weeks ago we [decided to change that to a URL](https://github.com/apache/tooling-trusted-releases/issues/315#issuecomment-3534446162) to simplify the system. Within recent days we changed our opinion on this and now [plan to implement fully templated checklists hosted on ATR](https://github.com/apache/tooling-trusted-releases/issues/315#issuecomment-3607116123). We could include release details in vote email bodies, but the release should be unambiguously identified already by its subject. This is only true, however, if the tag or revision are included in the subject. This depends on the subject implementing templated variables, which is tracked by #363. Perhaps this would be a sufficient solution to this request, as long as a subject containing the tag or revision were made the default? Allowing a template for voters to include in the body of their email is tracked by #332. I've increased the priority of that issue very slightly. Are these existing three issues (#315, #363 with tag or revision as default, and #332) sufficient to resolve this? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
