Thanks for the detailed explanation, that makes sense.
I agree that simply templating the existing subject field might be
unintuitive,
and that introducing a dedicated release policy field for templated subjects
(and announcements) sounds like a cleaner approach.
Before I proceed further, I just want to confirm:
- Should this issue now focus on the release policy / UI change (new
templated subject fields),
rather than extending the current subject field logic?
- And would you prefer that this issue wait until #451 is resolved,
or should I explore a partial approach or design proposal first?
