We had a meeting about this and decided that we hope to render the source vs binary default question moot by adding more of the more advanced classifiers mentioned in the title of this issue. In other words, we should be able to detect automatically, for our RMs, whether artifacts are source or binary based on file naming and content patterns. This should cover the majority of cases.
