How about if we add a new field to the vote form on the first round, i.e. for podlings only, saying where to hold the second round vote? There are two reasons why I think this might be a better approach: * Eventually only `general@incubator` will be allowed, and then we can just remove that form field. * I've evaluated what needs to change to implement starting a second round separately, and it's a big change. Changing the vote process would affect many files and require a lot of testing and consideration. Adding a new first route vote field to give the second round address is a comparatively much smaller change. There are also a couple of reasons why we might still prefer a separate second round vote form: * All of the fields could be customised, including the message body and duration and so on. * The release manager can decide when to start the second round, if for any reason it has to be delayed when the first round is resolved. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
