Hi Kai,
 It may be interesting to get feedback from the KDE community as I think the 
total amount of code they have rivals the total OOo code. They seemed to have 
a reasonably problem free move from CVS to SVN. But I think that they have to 
write many scripts to cater for tags/branches to get a reasonable migration 
to SVN. Of course they do not have anything like the EIS tools, which is 
another set of code changes.
