I can do that.

But what is the "extra functionality"? If I don't really need it for my
stuff I can skip it and at least move forward with the stuff I need to
do. Currently we use OpenOffice.org on the back end using Java to call
in to it to print and save to PDF. I need to get familiar with the RTF
filter since it isn't up to the level of the .doc filter and it is only
a matter of time before one of our clients runs into a problem. Since
there will be a lag between the time I fix a problem and the fix gets
accepted (assuming it is accepted) into the project we will have to ship
what we build.

Yes, that rules out that theory :(

Needless to say that it works here without problems. Can you provide the
config.log and winenv.set from your build. Best you open an issue,
assign it to vq (at) openoffice (dot) org and attach these files there.

Volker

P.S.: It's hard to debug build problems without evidence, see here
<http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Debug_Build_Problems>
for useful debugging information.

P.P.S: An even wilder guess: Please revert to your original
extractfiles.mk and replace the empty lines 185, 188, 199 with a <TAB>
or remove them. And try again.
